The Marketing Rapport podcast was created to extend the brand reach of the newly created Verisk Marketing Solutions (VMS) to position us as fundamental thought leaders in the consumer data and behavioral marketing space, across a multitude of industries. We were positioning ourselves as a voice for responsible data use to improve customer experience through personalization, but that message is so much more powerful when being echoed by other industry leaders.
I led the initial development and production of the first season, and then served as an executive producer on an ongoing basis, while my team so deftly took over day-to-day production and dissemination.
In the beginning, working closely with the host of The Marketing Rapport, Tim Finnigan we shaped the shows interview tone and style, guest selection, and production workflows. This was critical to ensure we presented well and captured the most compelling content to help us build our audience and recruit guests.
Podcast production is a rapid and complex endeavor, with many elements and moving parts. We were fortunate to have been supported by Marketers In Demand, a full-service agency, specializing in podcast production. Their team was an extension of ours and helped us to produce regular episodes at scale.
